A collaborative campaign showcasing the outcomes of the Paris Agreement

As COP30 fast approaches, we wanted to highlight the incredible advances cities, states and regions have made since the ratification of the Paris Agreement just 10 years ago. Where national ambitions have sometimes been lagging behind, cities have implemented real actions and made a stark difference.

The concept is a sort of travel book, featuring polaroids and postcards of places that have implemented their climate strategies in the last 10 years, and highlighting their positive impact.

The campaign was so widely appreciated that, at launch it was published by the COP30 Presidency’s social accounts as well as COP30 CEO Ana Toni. It then gained further traction and was published on the social accounts of ICLEI, UN-Habitat and its Global Director Anaclaudia Rossbach, Regions4, the World Research Institue, the Under2 coalition and the Climate Champions. In total, nine different posts were published over 12 different accounts and receiving high praises.

Originally, the campaign was planned to end at COP30 with a physical stand, inviting local government to write their own actions on a postcard and pin it to a world map.

However, due to low relatively low attendance of local goverment at COP30, the campaign conculded with a post on social media.
