Wifi Saves Lives Thanks to Amnesty International (STUDENT WORK)

Brief

Amnesty International struggled to recruit new members, both to participate in their efforts again human rights crime and in donations. The organisation didn’t lack brand awareness, but the general public was not taking a lot of interest in their activities and did not interact much with their campaigns.

Therefore, there was a real need for interaction between the general public and the organisation. As we know, street recruitment is a hard-wearing task, and relies heavily on region and demographics, with a very narrow spectrum of population reacting positively to the approach. It was therefore necessary to find new supports to reach a broader audience.

But how do you reach people who are not interested in your product?
Get them something they really want in return.

All too often, as workers in large cities, we spend our commute riveted to our smartphones, and yet we are very limited in the absence of signal, data and any internet connection. Some providers offer a WiFi service within stations, but the signal is lost between stations, and they can also become quite pricey.

What if you could offer a free, reliable WiFi service that would be available throughout the Underground network?

This Is Where Amnesty International Come In
