Branding, Website and E-shop Design for Flatpack Furniture Customisation Revolution

Starting a new venture in speciality legs to help DIYers costumise their flat-pack or aged furniture, Christophe Georis needed a strong visual identity to support his concept. Starting as a simple logo design exercise, the project soon developed to a full branding, website and e-commerce development.

Branding

The brand is a contemporary interpretation of the early days of modern design, especially the 60s and 70s. Keen on proudly referencing his Belgian identity, the brand gives a nudge to Brussels by naming each item the same as some of its districts. A reference for visuals was Expo58, the Brussels International Exhibition of 1958.

The website was developed on a WordPress system, with its own theme designed in-house. It uses WooCommerce for the e-commerce solution, and has been designed to be easily maintained and updated using Elementor, a back-end visual editor plugin for WordPress that is easy to use and allows the client to add its own content with complete versatility, while remaining aligned in style with the rest of the website.
