A Full Branding Exercise for Connected Places Catapult’s Summits

Connected Places Catapult have established themselves as a thought leader and convener in their field. Each year, they host multiple summits attended by some of the most recognised actors in the sector, as well as Ministers and companies developing the technologies of tomorrow.

To mark their recent rebrand, the summits needed a strong brand that could tie in with the existing brand but also be a brand on its own.

Logos

A summits ‘base’ logo was designed, allowing each summit to have its own dedicated logo while remaining part of a whole. An element of colour remains the same at all time – CPC’s green – while each summit gets its own colour.

Visual Language

The background of every visual is a white/grey landscape, while the main visual is a full photorealistic render, putting the focus on what really matters. The visuals are either entirely 3D-model based, or a juxtaposition of a photographic element over a drawn background.
